Terms of service

These terms govern the use of lodgesight.com and the LodgeSight application ("the service") by hotel companies and the people they authorize. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

LodgeSight provides back-office software for hotels: scheduling, time clock, payroll records, daily reporting and accounting. A company's administrator decides who in the company may use it and what each person may see.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your passphrase and recovery code safe. Because company records are encrypted with keys only the company's people hold, LodgeSight cannot recover data for an account whose passphrase and recovery code are both lost.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for lawful business purposes and only for the company that authorized you. Do not attempt to access another company's data, interfere with the service, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

Text message program terms

When a company uses LodgeSight to text employees their work schedule:

• Messages are sent only to people who have agreed to receive them on the employee intake form or in their employee profile and have replied YES to a confirmation text from their own phone.
• Messages contain the published weekly schedule and changes to the recipient's own shifts. Message frequency varies with the schedule.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email privacy@lodgesight.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data

A company owns the records it enters. Our privacy policy describes how information is handled and protected.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, LodgeSight is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the company paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
